Carved ivory figurine depicts a Japanese geisha kneeling and holding a drumstick in each hand. There is also a small carved drum on a stand. The geisha has an elaborate hairdo and wears a kimono with incised designs. There is a maker's mark in seal script on the bottom, which is carved to suggest feet.
